WE ARE LOOKING FOR ARTISTS/MUSICIANS FOR OUR NEXT SHOW, Portals: 2013!!!
Emerged Production’s exhibition, “Portals: 2013” is an attempt to create a platform for artistic production that incorporates or addresses ideas and methodologies related to the concept of innovation. Exhibited works are sure to captivate both the mind with their depiction of cutting edge tools and processes that have the potential to generate a positive shift in the frequency of society. Innovation starts with the common person customizing available resources to fit their ideal way of life. By exposing our audience to new ways of thinking, we hope to create an atmosphere where people are inspired to continue the cycle by creating or imagining well beyond the context of this current showcase. We invite you to engage in a dialogue about what is to come in the years ahead by looking at art work as a portal into the future.
The exhibition will be in a pop-up gallery inside Next Space @ Amplify located on Windward Circle just two blocks from the beach and in the heart of Venice. The event will be held on February 21, 2013 from 6:00 pm-11:30 pm to coincide with the Venice Art Crawl.

Music Submissions
Send an email to emergedproductions@gmail.com no later than February 1, 2012 including short biography, link to website (facebook, bandcamp, soundcloud, etc), promotional picture(s), and other media associated.
Art Submissions
Send submission to zabalza.christina@gmail.com no later than January 23, 2012 including completed application and images/media file/website/video
Type of Work
All media welcomed.
Emerged reserves the right to restrict subject matter.
Installation and removal of work
All paintings, drawings, and photographs must be framed, wired, and ready for hanging.
Installation will be on Wednesday February 19, 2013
Artwork will be installed by Emerged. We encourage artist to install their artwork with supervision from Emerged. If special requirements are necessary for the installation of a piece then the artist(s) will work with Emerged to ensure safe and appropriate installation. Artists will be responsible for any additional costs if specialized assistance or equipment is required. All artwork must be removed from the premises within 24 hours of the close date unless other arrangements are made with Emerged.
Sale of artwork
Artists will obtain 65% of the profit made from the art sale.
Publicity and promotion
Emerged will support artists to the best of its ability and resources.

Emerged will also have a limited amount of flyers for the show and encourage artists to make copies and distribute.
Security and insurance
The Venice Art Crawl is a high traffic night. Due to the nature of the space, artists are responsible for 100 percent of the value of any broken, stolen or damaged artwork.
Please include a .jpg image file of yourself with the application, at least 5’7”. This picture will be displayed during the show.
